Frog points?

Are you guys using any special points for shooten frogs?

My little guy just uses field points.  I myself have never gotten to shoot one as he expects me to do nothing but hold the light and be ready to chase any frog that doesn't get pinned!

I have used blunts, hexs, sgt's and judo points.  I have seen people use field points and 38 cases.  

I prefer relatively inexpensive heads because my arrows tend top find the one rock buried in the mud.

Around the places we have frogs to hunt are mainly sand washes and large ponds in gravel pits. Thats why I was thinking a fish type head would be better with a fishing reel set up.The frogs dive straight to the bottom of these deep ponds that have no grasses around them at all.Thanks for the info I may try and make some heads and I will post them for your thoughts.Tim

I'm sure you could put a loop in a piece of wire, and screw a field point through it. Most barb style fish points are very heavy.

i live in il, i think our season comes in june 15th and ends in august. you can harvest 8 frogs per night(i think this is correct)

what about your state?
