A guy brought this bow to our club the other night wanting to know what make it is and how much he should ask for it.
The bow has a heavy coat of paint on it and has a metal riser. We can see a round label covered with paint, we're thinking it's an old Black Widow. Thanks, Bob

Try this on the collecting forum and you should get a better response.

Black Widow, don't know the model, probably from the '60s or '70s
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

I think it is a HF 1225 model, very nice shooting bows. I have one on the rack. Stick a plunger rest on it and be amazed of the accuracy & dead in the hand shot.
That one looks rough so probably less than 200, in good shape 250-325.

Most were all black & others had wood showing on side of the limbs. You may be able to touch up the paint, clean up the bow & get a bit more $$.

How long are the limbs, they also made target models 1200.

I used to have one of those....Black Widow.
The best things in life....aren't things!
