I just received my new Arrowmaster quiver from Rod Jenkins and had to take it out for a test drive.  I really like this quiver.  I was most surprised how quiet it is, and how quietly I can use it in thicker, brushy conditions.  And the feathers don't get hung up on branches.  And it is real easy to put on and take off.  Top quality merchandise.  This looks like it will be my "go to" quiver.  Oh, really fast shipping from Rod, too.  Thanks!

Thanks for this. I'm considering one. The quietness was a concern, but I guess it's a new fabric and camo from the older models.
Looks like you might have just winged that big double stump in the second pic, though...

Hey Tom,
I would definitely consider one if I were you.  My arrows don't rattle around and the feathers don't drag against any limbs.  And the quiver rides close to my back, which helps.  And yes, I just winged that stump.  Missed a few too!

How do you replace arrows? Can you leave the quiver on, swing it around, remove the top and in they go? Or does the quiver have to be removed?

Good comment in the latest Tradbow Hunter mag by Steve Turay of Northern Mist Longbows. He uses a back quiver ala Howard Hill and says "Any type quiver has a set of limitations associated with its use and you simply learn how to use each type. Bowhunting is a very personal sport and pleasing yourself by doing it the way you want is basic to the traditional spirit."

That's helped me a lot in my pursuit for the "perfect" quiver. Doesn't exist. Find what you like and get used to it or keep several around for specific situations. Several meaning fewer than I have now! I like the covered fletch idea of the arrowmaster and the "clean" bow. Probably one coming sooner than later.

I love my quiver! I just shove the arrows fletching first into the same place I pull them from. works great and very comfortable.
"instinctive archery" is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

had to do a double take. First pic looks like the arrow is fletched on the center of the shaft.

Purchased one about 4 years ago and like the product a lot.  Works well with a backpack as well. I like the fact that fletch is kept covered. Have several bow quivers as well but you can't beat the naked longbow/recurve.....
