My go to hunters along with a military Gerber at all times.

Here some pics from my favorite knives, all from Bark River. I own "some" more, but this is my top-4!

The first is my Bravo-1,full tang, made of CPM 3V steel which is incredibly tuff. The knife has a Blue&Gold Elder Burl Handle. The blade is 4.25 inch long and .215 inch thick, so it is build like a tank! When the sh*t hits the fan, this knife is my choice.

 

The second is the Canadian Special, full tang, A2 steel, Antique Ivory Micarta handle with fingergrooves. The blade is 4 inch and I love to use this knife, its an all-round user and it is one of those knives which are magic and come to life in your hand.


 


The third is My Boone, a 5 inch blade made of ball-bearing steel (52100). A lovely traditional handle made of desert ironwood, warthog tusk and red/black and silver spacers.
 


And then when it needs to be bigger, I have a 1855 hunting bowie with double hollow grind. A 7 inch hair-popping blade made out of 154CM steel and a Antique Ivory micarte handle. A very nice pig sticker!
 

I always have at least one knife on me, unless I am somewhere I legally can't.

I dislike going on airplanes and in courtrooms and government building where I can't have a knife or multi-tool.

Being in the outdoors is the best cause you can carry your knives.

Knives are one of the most basic tools for human survival. I got excused from Jury Duty real fast last time because of how much I love knives.     :rolleyes:

 

Make mine a folder, light and sharp.Allways in my pocket.

If I am out of bed, I have a knife on me (except for when I'm in the shower).  Knives are among the most useful tools ever invented.

My latest homemade; ss, hollow ground w/scalloped blade, polished bone bolster backed w/rawhide ring spacers, & stabilized burl handle full tang. Razor sharp!

   

30+ years w/old reliable KaBar drop point that goes into the woods when I do. Cut so clean you won't even bleed!

I use and carry a Buck Pathfinder. If I could afford it I would be carrying Doug Campbell's Elkhorn Bowie he has in the sponsors thread. Now thats a knife!

So not yet in my hand but I just got this photo of my new knife from Shawn Swafford (ringneck). Bolivian Rosewood scales to match the riser in my NM Classic. Waiting on a sample of leather to match the sheath to the leather on the bow grip so I should have it in hand in a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

Amen to that.
I just got back from a trip for work and felt naked in the airports without my buck folder in my pocket and my leatherman on my belt.

Those antler,exoyic woods, and bone sure look good, but I have grown to prefer a textured rubber grip, may not be as traditional, but its easy to grip. Don't need a slip that will give you a bad cut while gutting or proccessing game.

If there's one thing I hate it's rules.......but rule #9 is one to live by!!
