I have a really nice boa skin I want to use on the back of some bows. It is 2-3 times thicker than a diamondback skin. What is the best way to thin it down a bit so it doesn't slow the bows? Thanks!

If it's for a selfbow, then I would leave it thick. But for a laminated bow probably the best way is to dry it, then carefully sand it thinner...a lot of work!!

Thanks, Curt. It's for a laminated TD bow, so the pieces will be relatively short. It is already dry...just needs less bulk to it.
