Just shot it with my carbons. It likes them and they are 536 grains with 175 grains up front. I think I like it.

I'm going to try some shorter 563 grain arrows later (210 grains up front) but right now it's about to rain.

I'll have some woodies made for hunting also

Fred, My Zona longbow was 64". Just have to set your treestand up for the shot with it. I had no trouble with mine.
Can't wait to sling some arrows out of that new bow.

You know me Corey, I've been a fan of short bows since I started shooting a couple of years ago, but I'll tell you, THIS ONE IS REALLY GROWING ON ME!!!!!!!!

A 62" @ 51#s may be my next bow.

Longer bows are known to shoot well because they are more stable than shorter bows. Sounds like you shoot it very well. I hope to make the next wednesday night shoot so I can shoot it.

I have tried everything and the Toelke bows are the cream of the crop.  IMHO no one makes a better bow period. YMMV
It's not the arrival, it's the journey.

Just shot some 200 grain BHs on my arrows I shoot 125 grain BHs from my recurve.  They shoot GREAT!  This bow was made for me.

I feel a 62", 52#er calling my name though.  Where's that piggy bank????

I have received two bows recently from Dan where one is the Whip and the other a Lynx.  I received the Whip first and could not believe how quiet and free from hand shock the bow was.  To my surprise, I did not expect the recurve, Lynx to be as quiet, but that was not the case.  It is as quiet or quiter than the longbow, Whip!   As for as shoot ability...none better for me.

I'm a little new at these longbows so bare with me.  Trying to learn.  I put a heavier BH on my arrows and shot it through my new Toelke based on some numbers from the Stu Calculator.  They didn't have the Toelke Super D so I started inputting manually all the numbers using the generic longbow.  When I changed it to center cut (which I believe my new bow is) and it surprised me how much the spine changed (lower) from if the bow had been cut past center.  Is this why I can shoot a heavier BH on my arrow I shoot out of my recurve?

I believe the Super D is cut 1/16th from centre + the strike plate thickness. I found the calculator to work accurately with Dan's bows if you get the data right.
