A while back there was a thread about the many archery-related uses for a simple clothes pin--from use in drying dipped and crested arrows to using for the accurate checking of draw length. Anybody able to find that thread via the search engine? I've had no luck. Short of that, what are some uses you've found for the simple clothes pin (beyond just hanging up clothes and keeping your bag of potato chips closed)?

I keep one handy when I'm twisting a flemish string.  Usually clip it on the last twist when I finish the first string loop end.  Also, comes in handy if I get interupted (most of the time) and need to stop.

I keep one on a hook outside the bathroom door. Have a sign that reads; "Enter At Your Own Risk" above it.

OconeeDan,
        Good one!

I also use several when ground blind hunting to help hold up my blind.

When I was a kid we used to take the spring off and turn it around and twist it to make a flame thrower using farmer matches. Hap

Clip them to the gutter down spout of your camper. The water will run down the clothes pin and out and away from the side of the camper and will help keep those black streaks away.

If you are into using scent, tape a film canister to a clothespin, stuff cotton or cloth inside, make it stinkie and clip it to an overhead branch.
