What wood arrow spine for a 44#@26".Also what alluminum arrow for 44#@26"

depends on your riser cut,tip weight and string type, but a 1916 and 1816 are good places to start for aluminum.  40-45 or 45-50 in wood.

Another vote for a 1916 aluminum.
Blacktail TD Recurve: 66", 42# @ 30". Arrow: 32", 2212. PW: 75 Grains. AW: 421 Grains. GPP: 10.02
