"instinctive archery" is more like playing the violin. Without practice you may remember the mechanics, but you will not be a virtuoso.

I had a ACS CX with skins. It looked good and worked fine on the ACS. I bought the bow with the skins on it.

I also had a pair with Limbs Skins, that didn't work out too well though. If you are going to do it, get the real McCoy.

I think you are liking that ACS I sold you. I may have another sock for the limbs and am still looking for the paperwork but I should find it shortly.

They are fast aren't they?

I have a set of copper heads my Friend gave me that I am hopping to use.

I love this bow I have a second pair of 47 @ 28 coming that I order from A&H.
I have sold off my last bow because this bow is just too amazing!!!

I have one with diamondbacks on it. You just barely beat me on getting that one from Gil.  :bigsmyl:

My two friends have older A & H bows and this bow blows theirs out of the water (same weight). they are a little pissed at me about the great find and deal I got on this bow.

This bow will be in the Elk woods this Sept.

Copperheads usally don't turn out as well on black limbs. They need to be put over a lighter colored limb. The copperheads I've seen put on black limbs look dark.I put diamondback skins on a buddy's ACS,they looked good on the black limbs.

xia_emperor

Well I guess I need to sell our trade the copper head skins.

I think I have read in the past about spraying black limbs with something like grey auto primer before applying light colored skins (such as copperhead) to help the colors show up better.

I have never tried it, but I'm sure I have heard of it being done.

sticbow

the black limbs will take all the color out of almost all skins..black an white an i really shows up just the pattern.
personally i really like the look of the skins of black limbs..
  peckerwood..that looks awsome to me....

Craig

Allen, I was just going to say that. I sprayed my limbs flat black just before putting the skins on. It will work.
