I was given two long bows. One is a Ben Pearson 60-inch bow, number 3340 I believe is a 40-pound draw.

The other is a beatifully crafted one piece wooden bow. It is 66-inches and is simply labeled
Petit Jean, Newark, NJ

What are the histories of these bows? I have shot both of them with make-shift string and arrow set-ups and found the Pearson to be more forgiving. Placed an order for proper B-50 strings for both bows and a spining kit. Just getting into traditional and I have the fever.
All I want to do is hunt and shoot. >>----
