Thanks Mr. Hansen! I will have to check that out, going to learn to hunt from the ground this year, and I figure a nice seat is just the ticket to keep me focused and comfortable

Yep, mine didn't make it home with me after a trip to WY...
I have a replacement though - in the process of getting it set up for the turkeys.

Does anybody have a picture of yourself sitting in the chair and shooting from the chair? Just looking at the chair doesn't look as if it's made to shoot from it. How do you set that up in front of a tree? Won't the rear frame be on the tree roots and keep you out from the tree? If anyone can help, Thanks

Just got one from the wife and kids for my BDay yesterday! Sat on it in the living room and watched the Ranger game!

Saw, it's a great design. You can use it with or without the back legs. With them it is a self standing seat. With the rear legs left in the folded position the top seat bar rests on the tree trunk. The front bottom legs are placed aboout 12-16 inches away from the tree base. You sit pretty low to the ground. Check out the website their a sponsor here available through G. Fred Asbell.

Thanks Pete, I didn't know it could be used that way against a tree.

Definitely made to shoot from, either agaist a tree(a little more upright)or free standing. I hunted all season out of mine with a guille suit and 62" to 66" Hill long bows. Very comfortable and easy transport. As Mudd said earlier, tennis balls are a good thing to have on the front legs to prevent sinkage or loss. I like the chartruse balls. Set mine down to prepare a problem with my bow quiver and walked off leaving the seat on the ground. Back tracked and found it pretty quickly because of the bright colored tennis balls. For the ground hunter who ventures well off the beaten path this seat is a beast.

Anyone have an accurate scale?  Curious what it weighs?  Might have to add one to my arsenal.

str8jct

Biathlon mine was 4.75lbs out of the box.

I've had mine for a few weeks now and think I've got it tricked out like I wanted.

I've sold alot of treestands, blinds, bows....etc but my pacseat is one thing I'll never sale! Anybody that buys one, will not regret it!

Thermacell, catquiver, & 'man purse' from a military surplus store.

The man purse is attached with zip ties and does not interfere with leaning against a tree.  The way I rope webbed the back leg is still usable to sit with but I have to carry it in the up position.  I will use that put extra clothes and stuff on top of the webbing and wedge it against the back for carrying.  The web strap will be used to keep it tight.

The catquiver is attached using rubber kwik-straps (3rivers) for easy removal but is rock solid and doesn't get in the way when leaned against a tree.  I also wrapped pipe insulation rubber tape around parts I thought might rattle.  I also wrapped it around the seat bar to cushion it against my leg but it squeaks A LOT and has already torn so I will probably have to take that off.  If you see any improvement needed let me know.

I like it...how does it compare w Huntmore or Quake Industries STAG Seat?

I'm looking for comfy quiet seats in my groundblinds    :goldtooth:
