Hunting different critters...thought this would be a good idea?

I know everyone would like to hunt other critters in different states and or countries. But I also know not everyone has deep pockets; especially in today's economy.
So I got to thinking; what if we could form some sort of list of affordable hunts that are trad friendly (for lack of better words)?

Anyone interested?

I like this idea alot. I got nothing tho. Never hinted outside Pa.

I will be in on this, we can't trade hunts in Saskatchewan, but can offer free hunt ideas.  I'm looking to expand my hunting horizons into some new areas and species on the fairly cheap.

Self guided bow fishing (suckers and carp) is allowed in Saskatchewan all you need is an NR angling licence

Non-Resident Annual Licence . . 78.51
This licence may be purchased by anyone who is not a resident or a Canadian resident.

Non-Resident 3 Day Licence . . . 39.25

We have some mighty good small game and bird hunting for relatively cheap or free.

Mountain's found me.  My best friend and hunting buddy gets a permit to accompany and I been out three times (goat hunting on the relatively cheap). Permits, licences and some food and air travel (on air miles) $600.00 out of pocket.  this is an option for people with (real friend's) to try, I believe that Yukon, B.C. and Alberta does something similar(I believe in Alberta you need to be a relative (correct me if i'm wrong)).  An option for a lifetime adventures if you have a friend to take you and the Gov't accepts your application.

No other States or Provinces have cheap, easy DIY hunting oppertunities?? great to know what around to make a combo hunt out of a outfitted hunt.

There's lots of land out here in MT to go hunting. You can DIY if you can get the tags. I'm pretty sure there are generally nonresident tags left over to buy OTC every year. It isn't cheap (at least not for my poor college budget) at $944 for elk/deer combo or $300-something for just elk.

I have guided a few guys from New England here in Ohio on Public land. Honestly, the deer numbers are dropping on public areas quickly with coyotes and increased hunting pressure/very liberal bag limits. Do a lot of homework before coming out. Some areas are still good, but many public areas are getting hit VERY hard during bow season.

I would also like more info on pig/bear hunting Cohutta in GA myself

Uncle Buck hit the same nail i was about to say. I am in MS and am wanting to plan a hunt in GA and camp and cook my own food. I can do it all gas included if i split it with a buddy for under $400. Supposed to be alot of bear in N GA too.

Come out to Western Oklahoma and get a map f Black Kettle grasslands in Cheyenne, OK.  Over 30,000 acres of broken up public land that is crawling with Turkeys (and Hunters).  However there are areas isolated from the main area and weekdays where you can get away from the crowd.  Pretty sure a BE can get a license and turkey tag for under 200 bucks.  Lots of camping etc.  If Blackkettle turkey are tough, go north to Packsaddle an often overlooked area for turkey in the spring.  Rough terrain keeps a lot of folks away.  Last time I hunted Blackettle I saw a Ron of hog sign as well.
