The two reasons I've never went longbow was short brace height and often slower than my recurve.

This bow has my attention     Put me on the list, or somebody PM me if it lands in NW Montana.

I also shot it at the tradfest and I agree with Lowebow and Friend, it is a great bow. I really enjoyed shooting it. even while it was just at 40 pounds it was fast. Just another home run for Bill Dunn, but what else is new..........LOL

Like Lowbow says, this new bow from Zipper is a fantastic performer. I have all but given up on a one piece bow as I need the extra weight in a riser with my poor shooting. It has more wood in the handle than most one pieces and with only a half dozen shots through it left me rethinking a light weight bow. I have owned a Centaur and for you guys that have shot them I am telling you this Zipstick is as good or better. Bills bow was 40 lbs and I can not imagine what the performance would be from a 50 lb'er.

Zipper-Gazim Is what you'll have if you pic this all new Zipstick up. Its simply a wow when you shoot it.

A couple of first for me with this bow - Foam limbs and a longbow at 58"....IMHO this bow pulled as smooth as any I've shot and I did not find the length to result in any sort of instability - finger pinch or performance issues in fact the more I have shot this Zipper the last 6 days the more I like it.

One thing that really impresses me is how it performs with heavy shafts.
I went back to shooting the 65# spine fir and shot them exclusively for the last 3 days (think I was over drawning them the first day - been shooting my heavier bows lately - :^). They are in the 12+ grain range for this bow and it moved them down range (18yds). I didn't have to adjust much between them and the 1916(s) - 10grains at that range which impressed me for a bow of 46lbs.  

Great grip
No hand shock
Performs well at a higher brace (about 8" for me)
Great performance with a variety of shafts/spines

I think this bow is a winner

I'll be sending it out with some regret to CoachA tomorrow enjoy

I have a 27.5" dl and am debating between 58" and 60" for this bow.   Like 58" for treestand but was leaning to 60".    What is your dl?

Limbender, My DL is the same as yours and I shot Bill's 56"er this past weekend. Absolutely no stack or finger pinch. Of course it was only 40 lbs. but I think you will be fine with the 58"er. If you are worried about the bow handling it don't be. Lowebow shot the same 56"er of Bills and his DL is at 30".

Of course all this info from Bills bow and this test bow are from foam core limbs if you go with wood cores you may want to go with the 60"er.

I draw 28.5 and I tried a couple of long draws 29+ with no stack or finger pinch that I could detect. 27.5 as this bow stands ....go for it!

And this is STILL a prototype! Can you imagine how the final bow that goes on sale will shoot? Mindboggling!

I looked Bill's 56" model over at tradfest last weekend and I can definately see a lefthander in my future.
