After going with me to Kzoo and shooting at the Michigan Longbow Association booth, my daughter Gwen had been bugging me to get her a "real" bow...and it had to be pink.  Enter Tracey at St. Joe River Bow.  Tracey hooked us up with a beautiful bow at a great price.  48" 19#@24.  Heck, Gwen's got a custom bow before her dad...what's up with that?  

Gwen occasionally joins me in the woods, and probably will more so now that we can stump together.  Of course, now she wants new arrows, new arm guard, new tab, new quiver...kinda sounds like she's got the bug!

I was looking at those youth bows too. My grandson will be due for an upgrade soon, and I'm thinking one of those great looking bows will fit him just fine.

I wish I would have shot one of St. Joe River bows at the trad expo. in Waterloo.  I really like the looks of their limbs.  Maybe next time.
