My buddy has an old Colt recurve he happened upon and wants to sell. The finish is perfect on it and has masking tape protecting the limbs. It's a 70something model, 50# draw. Any idea on its value?

I ran a thread abot the same bow last year. I got one for $20.00 I think it was. I dont think it would be worth more than a $100.00 but then again some things are priceless to others. check the big auction sites for round about prices.

I paid $50 for one once and used it for bowfishing and I think sold it for $50. Check for cracks. They're not fastflight compatible.

Check bow inventory on  www.rmsgear.com  They had one for sale a while back, not sure if its sold yer.  People pay more when they can actually shoot it versus an auction on **** or the like.

Various bows, but if you see me shooting, it's probably a Toelke in my hand!

If it is a Colt Firearms bow made by Wing I would guess the value would be comparable to any bow made by Wing. I also think you could get more that the estimates made if it is in good condition. I would expect to pay $200 to $300 for a prestine one in hunting weights. If it is a Pearson Colt I think the estimates made are accurate.
