first trad kill(pic updated)

got out squirrel hunting today i saw one about 100 yards away started walking closer to it and my eyes caught a twitch about 15 yards away so i turned twards it and saw it was a chipmunk so i used a tree as cover and started to close the distance i managed to get about 2 yards away from it i got to full draw and then i peeked behind the tree got my eyes on the chipmunk and released the arrow whople shot process took about 1 second

arrows destroyed but i killed a chipmunk with my longbow. ill post a pic later when it uploads onto facebook pic below
any animal you see posted that i say i personally harvested was eaten

My first ever kill with a trad bow, a recurve, was a bull frog.
Blacktail TD Recurve: 66", 42# @ 30". Arrow: 32", 2212. PW: 75 Grains. AW: 421 Grains. GPP: 10.02
Blacktail TD Recurve: 66", 37# @ 30". Arrow: 32", 2212. PW: 75 Grains. AW: 421 Grains. GPP: 11.37

If I'm after chipmonks with stick an string, I try to have my .45 long colt along as backup. Those things can be vicious!  :thumbsup:    :biglaugh:    :archer2:

Congrats. I have always left them alone but my home grown chipmonks are digging under my pavers and are going to experience a chipmonk genocide in the coming weeks. Keep after the squirrels, tasty practice.

yeah this is gonna get addicting hopefully i'll get a few more this year before the season for squirrel closes on the 28th

Eric called me right after he took the 'munk and then put me on hold while he just missed a squirrel.Could tell you were having a good time Eric and we know how you feel.Congrats on your 1st kill bud!   :thumbsup:
