Well this morning I talked to Greg Coffey and got some advice on which Shrew would work best for the way I hunt.I'm going with the Shrew Classic Hunter 52" or 54".45#@26".Anyone shoot this model and weight?
Thanks to all who posted pictures and answered all my questions about the Shrews.I was wondering how the Shrew bows got there name.Anybody know??

Shrews are good bows.  If you like a comfy grip you'll like this one.

David go on Ron's web site shrewbows.com. scroll down to "The Story Behind The Shrew" maybe this will help you in your quest. If not Ron will probably give you any information you want.  By the way what's the wait time up to now? Only two more months for me.

Hey David Congrats of the new bow! I actually bought the second Classic Hunter made, of course Ron got the first one:D.  My bow is 54" inches and I am shooting 55lbs @ 29" draw. I will keep it as simple and short as I can.  It is THE best bow I have ever owned or shot and believe me I have owned many bows over the course of all the years and no other fits my hunting and shooting style like the Shrew Classic Hunter.

The second benifit is you won't find a better bowyer or person around.  Gregg is the best

As soon as I can open Photobucket I will post some pictures.!

Dave - Ron sent me a 52lb.@ 28in. 52in. Classic to test here at our shop. Everyone that shoots this bow loves it, we have had draw lengths from 25in. to an honest 29.5in. and it just seems to fit them all. My wife liked it so much it's now hanging on her bow rack. You will like your Classic from the minute you pick it up and once you shoot it you will have a new favorite bow.
