i think now is a very good time to set up a bunch of hideouts, the trails are a little easier to see rite now, and you can trim shooting lanes through low brush, and even force some movment around obsticles if you have a very wide funnel, and you dont have to do it all in one day, go stumpin or sqirrel huntin and find a likley spot and build one.

I build em year round whenever I find a likely looking spot. I always use natural fiber twine to tie things together if necessary and If I don't return to a location, the twine will recycle along with the brush.

This is a good thread, any more pics of construction of the Ground blinds?

Thank you

What I do is make them quite sparse and then drop the pop out camo rings to fill them in. I would not recommend either making a place to sit or leaving a torges seat on a tree behind it. tree stand fols will have no respect for your all natural ground blind, in my experience, but at the same time think the tree stand equals a no trespassing sign. I have and will change my future tactics for placement by putting them in places where there are no trees suitable for hanging a tree stand. I hope they will then leave them alone.

I love these ground blind threads. Ground huntin is my thang!

Thanks Steve, I was wondering where that went. That's a pic of a blind me and my son constructed. Perty nice hidey spot!
