Anybody ever use CX Terminator XP Select Carbon Shafts?

I found a decent deal on these CX Terminator Select shafts, but couldn't find a great deal of info on them. I'm assuming that it's a dis-continued shaft from Carbon Express? So with little info to go on except the GPI and outside diameter I thought I'd ask the guys on TG where I have access to the largest knowledge base to trad archery known to mankind.

One more thing, I just bought some 50gr. brass inserts from Braveheart archery that fit the standard Carbon Express and Gold Tip arrow shafts and was wondering if these would fit the CX Terminator shafts that I'm eyeballing?
For some reason the manufacturers only give the OD and not the ID dimensions on their shafting.

Thanks for any help.

You can use the same inserts as your Gold Tips and standard Carbon Express. They have a straighter tolerence then like their Predator II line.A Terminator 45/60 has a .400 spine and the 60/75 has a .342 spine.I had some Terminator 45/60,they shot great for the bow I had them for, they are like GT 55/75 spine wise.

Thanks JR, sounds like a nice shaft. I used Stu's calculator to run the numbers on them and they should work perfect for both my recurve and my longbow, only difference is I need to take 1" off the total length for the recurve. This way I can buy a dozen and have half for my recurve and the other half for my longbow.

They are good shafts, just not as dolled up as some shafts are today.

I've got a dozen and they shoot very well and seem to be a tough arrow. 31" 60/75 out of my 55# bows.

I bought a dozen of these & a dozen Easton Lightspeeds for my first ever US hunting trip. Broke every single Terminator I shot. If memory serves, I believe I took 2 home with me. The Eastons held up just fine.
I swear I've never shot a more fragile shaft. Unless they're almost free, I'd use the money for better shafts.

I shoot the 45/60 shafts and love them. I have been shooting them for years, and have found them to be one of the toughest arrows I have ever shot.
Robtatto, maybe you just got a bad run.
They are very good shafts. They are so tough that I use them for my stumping arrows.
When footed, they are just about bomb proof.
You probably got a good price on them, because I don't believe CE makes them anymore.

I have shot them for years. They are a great shaft. I'm really sad to see them discontinued. You won't be dissapointed with them.
Pick a spot and concentrate!

Thanks for all the input guys, I'm thinking seriously about giving them a shot.......pun intended.
