I have been looking for a good broadhead. I'm shooting a Martin Savannah 50@28" drawn to around 29.5 shooting Beman Classics 500 cut to 30.5"  They are driving right in there out to 20 yards and that would be a max shot...my truely effective max/comfort zone is 12-15 yards or closer.

I want to know what 125 grain head to shoot.  I have some Magnus Stingers 4 blades that shoot great but was wondering about a three blade head.  What do people think about the new Hellrazor and the slightly older Razorcaps.  Also what about the g5 Montec?  I will buy a sharpener that will be used on the 3 blades if that is the route I go.

I may see if I can find some 125 grain Snuffers but what else is out there or should I stay with the Stingers.  On the stinger line what about the Buzzcuts?

Thanks,

Josh

What flies good on your set-up? That's what always decides it for me.

If the stingers are flying great, i would stick with them. They will leave a heck of a blood trail with a pass thru.

The Stinger is a great little broadhead and I'd shoot it as a 4 blade...that little bleeder ain't gonna slow nothin down.

The Woodsman is a VERY popular 3 blade head that is certainly in your weight range and the Razorcap isn't far behind.

The great thing about 3 blade heads is that no "tools" are needed... just a big ole file and a ceramic honing stick.
