I was wondering if anyone could offer advice on a place to Bear Hunt this spring.  Due to family commitments I will be unable to hunt out west this fall so I would like to plan a spring hunt.  Any help would be great!

Contact Ted Fry at Raptor Archery (sponsor here).  He guides spring bear hunts in Idaho.

Northwest Montana, over the counter tag, all spot and stalk on a lot of public land. Contact the Division of Fish, Wildlife and Parks in Helena and ask how to contact a wildlife boiologist concerning spring bears there.

Idaho is a great place for bears, both baiting and spot and stalk.  Some of the wilderness areas offer a two bear bag limit as well! It's where I plan to hunt bear this spring.

Montana also has a spring season...no baiting allowed though.
