What's the recommended brace height on the Barta Bow? Or the old Martin Bushmaster?

#45 @ 28"

Thanks
Ken

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

If I remember right it's from 6 1/2 to about 7 3/4.  I shoot my 60# Bushmaster at 6 1/2 with 65/70# Woodies and it works great.  Quick too.

Ken, I just looked up my old Bushmaster string height. It shot best at 7-1/4" It was 45 # @28". Biff

I did a search and what I found on the Martin page is for a 2000 Bushmaster they recommend  6 3/4 to 7 1/2.  For a 1999 Bushmaster they recommend 7 1/4 to 7 1/2.  Go Figure?  My bow is about a 1996 model and is not FF rated but it sure shoots good at 6 1/2, so I would say go low and start twisting it up until it feels right.
Good Luck !
