Got my belated Christmas present a couple of days ago....my new green Kanati! It's 49# @ 28". It sure is a great shooting bow, and it looks great along with my green Kota.

What should I get next?

Yep,, green is good!  I sure like my green Northern Mist.

Well, if you already have a 49# Kanati, you won't ever NEED another bow! I still try some others too though. My latest is the NM Shelton in my signature. It is fun to play around with, and I'd recommend one if you want to try the Hill style bows.

If, perish the thought, I had to limit myself to one bow, it would be my Kanati, hands down. It is smooth, fast, quiet, and puts arrows exactly where I point it! Kanatis aren't especially picky about spine, and they sling heavy arrows with authority.

Congrats on your purchase of the finest hunting bow you will ever own.

I do like the looks of that Northern Mist. I'll be checking them out at Kazoo.

Don:  It is Dymondwood (sp). I read recently that Dymondwood was heavy, but my Kanati is very light. The Kota, on the other hand, is much heavier. Not sure what it's riser is made from.

Sweet green Kanati! What length? Glad to hear that the Dymondwood doesn't feel heavy - that's what I have on order.

akbowbender

I guess length is important too: 60"

Really nice looking bow!
