Any one out there shed hunting yet? I picked up a little 2 point side the other day or I guess you could say my GSP did. I have heard that here in PA the bucks are dropping their horns fast.

I've only found one dink, but a buddy has found 3 left sides from 150 plus inch whitetails here in North Idaho.

SHEDS??? We don't have any bucks up here.  No does, either!  Not really.  At least it appears that way after the last 3 years of seeing very few deer LOL!

I'm with limbow. I don't usually start till March but this makes me want to go out now! Maybe I'll find some this weekend at the KS bunny stomp.

My biggest set (170 class) was found on super bowl weekend several years ago.  Went on a walk at half time. Would have been in mid Jan. Oh, I shot that buck the next year twenty yards from where I found the sheds.

That's cool RB.I've been keeping an eye out for them while stumping and bunny hunting but won't get serious about it 'til March most likely.

RUTANDSTRUT

went out shed hunting today and saw 7 bucks still carrying both sides.  maybe next week!

adeeden

There still carrying around here as well, I won't start until after valentines day. No reason to push them out of there winter core areas before them.

I found a set today.  Each side had 5 points.  I am trying to train a 5 month old lab, she didnt find them first, but was excited after I pointed them out to her.  The first 2 she finds, will be the lim bolts to my RER bow that I have on order.
