I have developed two targets. First is block target. It is has dimensions 12x12x12 inch ad it is quite light. My 3 year daughter can lift it without problem. Second target is ball target and I use it for stump shooting with rubber points.

Nice targets. I also searched on Slovenia and got a geography lesson   :)

Nice! I'd also like to know how you made the block target.

I would love to know how the square target is made too. I would be a great back of the truck target.

Awesome thanks for sharing.

What do you hunt in Slovenia? What types of game do you have there?

Nice targets, and your daughter is a cuitie. I hope you include her when you shoot your bow.

Thanks for your comments.
Block target is variation of classical bag target. Take burlap bag and fold bottom of the bag in such way that it forms square bottom. Then cut square sheets of insulation foam and insert this pieces in the bottom and side walls. After that fill core of the target with old clothes or in my case plastic stretch wrap. When it is filled put another insulation square sheet at the top. Then roll top of the burlap bag and form handle.
It looks little complicated. I intend to make another little biger target and then I could make photos on how to build it.

JamesV:
Block target weights 3,8 kg. Weight of the target depends on material of the core. If you use old clothes it will be heavier than if you use stretch wrap. If I calculate correctly 4"x4"x4" target will weight approx. 0,2 kg if you use similar materials than I do. I think it is to light if you use ordinary field points.

Bowhunting is not allowed in Slovenia.; but our country has big forest and mountain areas. If you are rifle hunter you can hunt roe deer, red deer, wild boar....If you are interested in Slovenian wildlife, country and hunting customs I could write new post about it.

What is the grey shiny stuff you used for the handle?

Bummer about not being able to hunt with a bow, I noticed lots of Europe does not allow bow hunting, maybe a post about that topic would be a good one.  Do you have picture of how to build or material that go into the square target.

I live in a apartment, that type of target will be great. Will built one to keep in the back of the Blazer.

Grey shiny stuff is ordinary silver power tape.

Hummer3T

Sorry, right now I don't have photos, but as I said I intend to make another little biger target. In that occasion I will take some photos.

Nice work on those two targets.  What did you fill the round one with?  The round target would be cool hanging from a tree and shooting at it with flu flus.

Round target is filled with plastic stretch wrap.

You simply make ball from stretch wrap and then you put power tape all around ball. My target has diameter around 7 inches and it is good indication of my shooting skills. I throw this target and then I shoot it with rubber points. I like, because this save my arrows. When I perform clasic stump shooting I broke a lot of arrows. Target is very light, cheap and you can throw it , hang it.... If you damage tape shell, you just simply add another layer of tape.

Your quite the handy man, thanks for the info and pics.
