I'm trying to decide on broadheads for next year's Sweat hunt (yeah yeah, I know it's early, but I gotta do something!)
I'm told it's going to be mainly hogs we're after.

I've got a fair arsenal of heads;

Zwickey Delta 2-blade,
Zwickey Delta 4-blade,
Snuffers
Woodsmen.

They're all inserted to 200gn, they all fly like lazers & I can get them all ridiculusly sharp.

All other things being equal, which would you choose to hunt big piggies with & why? (Oh, I'm shooting a 59# at my draw Horne's Combo longbow with a total arrow weight of 600gn)

I would go with the snuffers. I like the extra cutting width and with your setup i don't think penetration will be a problem.

Any of the Simmons heads.  They all seem to fly great.

Well, that's one vote for every head I own, plus one I don't! More opinions needed yet!  :D

I don't think you could beat the Woodsman with a stick. But that is just me.

If at first you don't succeed, do it like your wife told you to, to begin with.

Guess I'd vote for the Delta 2-blade.  Why?  Penetration of 2-blade plus cutting width.  I'm a rookie compared to most of you guys, but I've learned I'd rather hit one in a good spot with a bad broadhead than to hit one in a bad spot with a good broadhead.

Curveman

Woodsman. I blew through a big, fat hog with mine and my 61# Border. Went 30 yards max and no wondering where it went!

I don't think it is a matter of performance but "personal prefrance". If it were me i would shoot a razor sharp two blade. I would also a carry a snuffer in my quiver. I've shot a few deer with both heads, but I have yet too hunt a hog.

I'd go with the BIG SNUFFER.

Show no mercy!!

How's the middle of September sound? 19th-27th. Soon enough?  :D

I'll be kicking around East Tennesee with The Wife for a week's hunting. Property hunting that is!

Thanks so far y'all. Keep 'em coming...

Rob,  I think you should forge up your own points...make 'em any size & weight you want!  Doc

You have listed all very good heads, imho. Take em all and shoot one with each head. My quiver typically has 2-3 different heads in it and I chose whichever one to shoot on a whim because I know all will do the job equally well. Variety...one of the spices of life!

fuggedaboutit! Pick one, shoot that...you'll do fine.
