What backpacks are you all using, I'm in the market for a new one after 12 years its time, don't want something huge ,but big enough for maybe an extra coat,lunch,gear. Thanks

I was using a military nock off one, but I just bought a used Kifaru Spike Camp.  I bought used, because I can't afford new.  From all that I gather, it is the ultimate daypack, and overnighter.  I have seen threads where guys were able to get a full boned out pronghorn strapped into it also.

I have a small white waters outdoor pack, it has three zippered pockets,a hanger handle at top,side compression straps and a great strap and adjustable back support system. you can hunt with it all day and not even know its there, not sure if they still make it, but I could send photo if it might help.

I have a DayOne all cotton pack,it's made for bow hunting, plus made in the USA.

Its a good size, somethimes I wish it was bigger. For the purpose you mentioned, it would be a fine pack.

The pack comes in wool or cotton, I like the cotton, so I can throw it in the wash (once a year)

It has many pockets, only one with a zipper (not a big fan of zippers).

My next pack will be a frost river Isle Royale Bushcraft Pack, look like a great pack, that would last a lifetime!!

Markhor wapiti 25L pikau for day hunting works good for me a big plus is that you can shoot with the pack on. Most of my packs with  straps always catchs the bowstring but this one doesn't which is a big plus

Bison gear lost river for day or spike camp hunts, wilderness pack specialties for multi day mobile hunts, and now a gfa Haversack for short little rabbit hunts. ( never used a Haversack before, they are awesome and very comfortable for minimal gear packing.)

X3  Great pack. Carries what I need and carries it well.    

I have the Day One backpack in ASAT bucksuede. Carries alot of gear, plus has tie downs and I like the way the side and internal pockets close up.

I'm another X2 fan - well built pack for theft money. (I also sell them if you decide to go that way)  
The X2 is small enough to hunt and shoot with easily, yet can handle heavy load if needed.  I've used mine hauling meat or a Treestand and love how comfortable it is.

Eberlestock X2. Got one from Whip for Christmas and used it to haul all my gear out, tree stand, sticks etc. Felt like I didn't have a pack on. Very well made and thought out .

Kuiu Icon 6000 is a realy nice pack for a bigger one and the 3000 is a realy nice smaller one I love my 6000 it fits me better then any pack I have ever used. And they are light weight!    Widow
