If you have killed with them do you like the eskimo or delta better. I just grinded a delta into an eskimo and it flew like a dart. These are what I will be using to hunt this year..

A big fat Delta is hard to beat. Easy to sharpen,
and they punch a big hole in whatever you hit with them. I have used them on wood, aluminum, and now carbon shafts.

Some years I get a package of something different,
but on opening morning of bow season, Zwickeys are in my quiver. I currently have seven battle scarred veterans ready to fly this year. All have killed at least one deer. My practice heads are ones where the blades are nicked too badly or something. If I`m lucky, next year I will need a dozen newbies to get trianed.

eskimo is all i use, i've used others but keep coming back.

What's the best way to sharpen them? Was thinking of trying them.

I used the 4-blade Eskimos and Deltas for a few years. Great heads. The Deltas are still my favorite 4-blade heads.

I have used nothing but Eskimos for the last 14 yrs.

Used both since the 70's and I feel there is none better!  Ben
I would've taken better care of myself,if I'd known I was gonna live this long!

I still use the remaining bunch of my "Black Diamonds. Never used anything else except Bear Razorheads.

I use a file to sharpen mine. At first, it was kinda difficult because I didn't know what I was doing. But now, I can get them extremely sharp. I do chage the angle though, especially toward the tip. You have to take off some metal, but not enough to effect penetration. They have shot completely through everything.

I have a 4-blade Eskimo that has been completely through the spine of two deer. Both times it happened, (not a shot I try to make) the head was still as sharp as if it had never been shot. I love them and see no reason why anything could ever be better!

I have 4 blade deltas that I still use that have my name and address on them and havent lived there in 33years. Every year new broadheads come out,and I think how can they be better then a zwicky. And then I think, they`re not.   After the first filing,I sharpen mine with a True Angle hone, gets them scary sharp, and takes very little metal off to do it.

I've killed whitetails with both in the 2-blade version.  I'd have to say either one is great if it is razor sharp.  It's hard not to like the big delta and it flies great on a well tuned arrow.  The little deer in my sig pic fell to a delta on the end of a pine log.  Awesome double blood trail for about 40 yards.

I like the eskamos very well. I've got some that have been through the grind, and after some vice and file surgery i have not lost but maybe 3 in 14yrs do to rocks, dirt, in trees. There is just something about them i keep going back to i can't tell you why because i don't know..performance and durability, maybe...or maybe its sentamental...
I have never tried the 4-blade zwikeys. Maybe next year...personal choice...Good luck, good shooting, and keep'em like a razor...What ever you chose...

I love my Zwickeys, especially know that I can sharpen them. I have sharpened several BH in the past week, this weekend I pulled one out of the package and it seemed a lot harder to sharpen. The steel seemed harder. I bought a new file and tried again and it didn't make much difference. Has this happend to anyone before? Gilbert
