Probably a stupid question but what glue do you use. Fletchtite, The point hot melt type glue, ...?

I need to glue some on my first set of cedars and want to do them right.

Duco has worked for me for over 50 yrs!

No problems with Fletchtite either. But Duco is probably a better option for woods.

Jwilliam

Duco for my nocks on wood arrows.

If they're dipped in Bohning products-fletch-tite.  If they're dipped in poly-Duco. Hap

Thanks guys I actually left the taper bare and I used Fletch tite to glue them on (I knew where that was instead of looking for the Duco)  seems ok...I put a dozen of my tradgang arrow wraps on them. I got to get some fletching now (can't find them either)

I've used both Fletchtite and Duco, with comparable results -- 'though the Duco seems to give a little more time for things like making sure the nock is straight, and it doesn't cost as much. I also use Duco for fletching. If you have a hardware store nearby (Menard's, Lowes, Home Depot, etc), they should have Duco -- or you could try a craft store. For points, I use hot-melt, such as Ferr-L-Tite; never use craft store hot-melt glues, they are NOT tough enough.

Thanks guys I have Duco...Somewhere ... I knew about the Ferr-l-Tite for the points and have used that a bunch. But I'm making my cedars from scratch this time and wanted to make sure Fletch tite was OK for the nocks. When I find my Duco I'll put it in my new workshop.

Krazy glue. The only issue I have witj it is that you have to melt the nocks or points off but man it holds up.

I use Duco on my woodies too. Frank
