Just picked up a sweet bow that has a 13" Morrison ILF riser and Dryad limbs.  I love it.  Need to outfit it with a quiver, what are your recommendations?  Thanks.

Over&Under

I will be watching this as I have not yet owned an ILF bow but would like to.

I am curious how a strap on model like a GN would work if strapped on around the limb connection?

Good question Stan...Congrats on the new bow.

My "strap-on GN adjustable works just fine.

I have aslo had great success with a strap-on Thunderhorn.

However, I just up-graded my Eagles Flite 4 arrow model to the Tallon System and I love the weight differance between this one and the ones above... I'm happy to sacrafice those two extra arrows for the joy of carrying a very light, secure, quiver that also completely covers my long VPA 3 blades.      :wavey:

Thanks Gene, I will have to look at a strap-on quiver.  I prefer to have 5 or 6 arrows if I can get them.

As gene said the Strap on GN quiver will work just fine. I have used that on a Morrrison ILF in the past.

I have used GN quivers, but Big Jim's are all I will use from now on. What a great product!

I have tried Selway slide-on, Selway quick-detach slide-on, Great Northern strap-on, and Selway quick detach limb bolt models.

The Selway slide-on is my favorite when it fits well.  It's perfect on a 15" Morrison ILF riser... haven't tried on on a 13" riser, but will soon.

Also...

I greatly prefer the 5-arrow Selway to the 6-arrow.

Thanks for all the responses.  Which Tradgang sponsor carries the Eagle's Flight quivers?

Hawkeye

Several do, I think, but I enjoyed getting mine "straight from the horses mouth!"

Eagle's Flight is a Trad Gang sponsor, and owner Don Ward is a pleasure to talk to in selecting a great quiver.

StanM, there are a lot of sponsers here that carry the EFA bowquivers. You might want to talk with Bob Morrison to see what he recommends since you are talking about a Morrison bow. We make a quiver specifically for him with his logo on it. You can also look at our website to see the wide range of bowquivers that we make. Please give us a call if you have questions.

Thanks to those of you who recommended EFA. We don't spend money for lots of advertising so word of mouth on a great site like Tradgang is very important to us.
