I plan on ordering a shaft test kit from Surewood.  I have four longbows, from 55-59 lbs and a 28 1/2" draw.  At what spine weigh would you recommend starting at?  

These kits come by the dozen, your choice as to how many of each spine weight.  What did you choose and why?

Need more clarification. What tip weight do you want to shoot? 125gr, 145gr, etc. Are your longbows built 28.5" draw length? Or are they 28" and your draw length is 28.5"? Are your bows Hill style bows or are they the more modern bows that have their shelves cut to center?  All this makes a big difference in how well you match your arrows to the bow. Glad to help. Just need more info.

I shoot two Pronghorn Longbows they are 51@28 and 52@28 my arrow are 60-65 29" with 125gr or 145gr the fly perfect.

My point weight will be 135-145gr, and you can add another pound and a half to by bow draw weights.  I have two RD bows and two D shaped bows.

I would get 6 of the 70/75's and 6 of the 75/80's. I think you will have all the bases covered from the D longbows and 135gr tips up to the RD bows at 145gr and cut to 29.5" bop (1" longer than your draw length). Of course this is assuming that the RD bows are cut to center or close to it.

start with 65# and go up to 80#

I'm shooting 54 and 58 @ 28 pronghorn longbows with skinny string (8 strand) and 65 is at the low end of the spectrum cut to 28.5 with 125 grain tip (drawing about 28) for me. I'd recommend the 70 to 80 spine range to give you some flexibility at that draw length.....IMHO
