A man's true measure is not found in what he says, but in what he does.

QuoteWith so many DFW types....where do you guys shoot 3-D?
Good question, there is a club called The Mesquite Archery Club.
http://www.mesquitearchery.org/macdex.htm
I've never been. It's actually in Lancaster.
And there is an other club in Collin County near Farmersville I think. Never been here either.

That's all I know of. If you go let me know how it went please.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

DTS

Smack dab between Waco and Stephenville where the hunting is good.  NorCal? Me to. Mt. Shasta.  DT.

Tbilisi

Lived in Grandview and worked in Cleburne.  Now working overseas in west Africa.  Can't wait to get back deer huinting for a couple of weeks this fall.
Life is short.  Shoot the good arrows first.

Bridgeport, Ca. North of Mammoth Lakes, South of Lake Tahoe. Fished around Mt Shasta many times.

I live in Plano - just north of Dallas. I spend a lot of time at Mt. Pleasant (12 miles north). I have land there that keeps me busy.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "WOW, what a ride!!" Unknown Author

Lorena, just south of Waco about 15 miles on IH-35

MikeW,
I appreciate the links...will have to check them out.  I was going to join cowtown but they closed.    :(    To bad too, because I work at Lockheed and their range was next door.

Nakohe,
Thanks for the tip...is that were you shoot?    :archer:    BTW, good luck on your bou' hunt...wish I could go...one day!!  Also, I read somewhere you got a Blacktail - or two...could I see the pics.  I really like their bows, just out of my price though.

Richardson, Texas!  I got here as fast as my ex-wives would allow, I swear!   :biglaugh:   MikeW - you ever go over to that archery shop on Beltline east of Jupiter?  Nice little indoor range. Air conditioned too!   :D

Bill Turner

Ovilla here. 30 minutes south of Dallas, five minutes north of Ric O'Shay who lives in the cement capital of Texas, which by the way is responsible for most of the air polution in N. Texas. Seems to be enough Texans on here to have a big old fashion rendezvous.  :campfire:

Ted Young:
Our man Van must be on vacation. Van is out of San Antonio and a frequent visitor to this site.

Ted A. Young

Van is just like a Cop, never around when you need him!  LOL  My apologies to all policemen.  :^)
Ted A. Young AKA COB.  When I was young I spoke as child.  Now I'm older and got more sense I can't get any one to listen to me!

I lived in Plano from 1988-1997.  I had just got into trad archery before I left and wish I would have had more time there because there are so many of "us" there.

I still get back to Plano a few times a year for work and man the Plano/Frisco/Allen area is nuts now.

Good grief, guys!
How many Texans does it TAKE??

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
