Roadkill

How many bunnies will be spotted and how many do you normally take?  We have lots of rabbits this year, but not many hunters.  I hunt every weekend and have 23 from one ranch alone.  We give them to needy folks.  All are cleaned and ready.  Would love to hunt with you all

We don't take too many, but have an awesome time! It really depends on the year as to how many we see, might be 4 or 5 or it might be twenty! Hitting those buggers when busting the brush for them is tough, thick briars, lots of places that they can run and still stay hidden, and lots of spots you jump them and you cant find room to get your bow up... but I enjoy the challenge, the exercise and especially the friends.

Getting close boys, better dust off the brush pants  :D

roadkill it's public land so it depends on how hard the hound hunters chase them and the how the weather is..let's just say the rabbits we hunt are in survival mode all winter so it makes the hunt quite a challenge! Not to mention sleepy hollow is a swampy area with briars and autumn olive...when the ice on the lake is good, there is access to several island that the brush is so bad you cannot get through it!
Would love to have you up sometime!

Just fletched up some possible casualities for the Iron Bunny, had some beat up shafts that will still fly well but not be missed much, arows are ready for there chance at 5 minutes of fame, or death by the bunny.

kennyb

The iron bunny is the best part of the stomp... Of course you have to shoot at it  :D

The Iron Bunny will be sporting a new look and maybe hold a surprise! Right now he's a snowshoe hare sitting on snow! haha (actually just all white primer coat, i'm not QUITE that mean!)

Hmm, i kinda like the snowshoe hare idea!!!

This years game will be to see who can pull a arrow out of Bob W quiver and shoot the Iron bunny with it, now that would be damn funny.
