I just purchased a dozen GT 3555 and am looking for recommendations on replacement nocks.  Thanks!

I really like the newer Easton 3D Super Nocks.  They fit, are smaller in size than many others, and have been extrmemly durable for me.

I shoot longbows and recurves with GOLDTIPS and I prefer to use mercury speed nocks with an aluminum nock adaptors I order from black widow. If you happen to split a nock the pointed nock adaptor saves the arrow from spliting. I just like this style of nock they are very quick for a second follow up shot when useing a back quiver and with a dacron string they fit the servingon the string just about right.Just my preference, I am sure others on this site will have thier favorites nock type. Bohning Signature or the Easton's.

I also like the Bohning Signature nocks.

QAD Tune-a-nocks are great. they hold well and less serving/string thickness sensitive and if you flirt with Extreem FOC they only weigh 4.5gr (about half to a third of a standard nock) and can increase your FOC by almost 1% once you get around 30% FOC...doesn't have this dramatic effect at more traditionl FOC percentages.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

I like the G knocks but they only work with an adapter. Don't know if the aluminum adapters are still avaliable. If not when I run out I will have to like something else.

Bohning signature x 3.  That is what I switched to and you can find them anywhere and get them in a lot of colors.

Guys the adapters you speak of. Would that include the clasic nock & T nock ? I checked and KK has them. This is what they say.

Detailed Description :
These nock inserts are designed so you can use glue-on nocks on your carbon arrows. 5/16" size fits most brands of carbon arrows (use 9/32" nocks).

So I wouldn't be able to use a 5/16 nock ?

Thanks guys; this input is very helpful>  I know some have never had a problem with GT nocks, but to me it is not worth a bow limb or worse!

I contacted GT and told them I there nocks were breaking and they sent me 3 Doz new nocks as the informed me they had addressed the material problem. What ever they changed it worked as I just did a bunch of stump shooting with them and no problem.

Yeoman Bowman

I also replaced mine with Bohning Signature nocks. They seem much sturdier.

TDHunter: Thanks for the tip on contacting Gold Tip.I sent them an email also. Maybe they'll send me some extras.   :)

Very nice arrows, and those look like they will hold up.

Kathy,
That's what I wanted to hear. Nice projectiles by the way.      :campfire:

Bohning signatures seem to be getting the most votes.  Appreciate the input!

Killdeer

Speaking of holding up, which they are, it occurred to me that I have a slightly big rear... on the arrows... because they are collared abaft the fletches with a bit of 2117 aluminum shafting. This was painted over and has the arrow number dabbed on.

This probably gives the smoother transition to the nock.

Thanks for the kind words.
