Anybody use three fletch? Anybody trim there fletch to adjust the arrow speed? Which is best for birds, colors or black/white?

Cut down full length into 4.5" and use a full helical. I trim the back a little....Best color in the world...Team Pink

I like the spiral fletch best. As far as colors, natural barred or white.

I like these I made. Only thing different next time may be I will probably use a base coat white so the Chartreuse paint will stand out better.

Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

I prefer spiral fluflus. Here is one I took to Colorado this fall.
As I walked along I'd hear a buzzing sound and realized it was a hummingbird that followed me to my stand. He sure liked this orange fluflu.

Wow! Those are all some nice fletch jobs! I hope to get busy with mine soon. I'm thinking grey barred 3 fletch and I have some ideas on a crest and shaft stain. I'll post mine up soon.
