Bob Lee shooters help

I have a recurve and longbow from bob lee and they are both 50lbs @29 inch draw which is my draw length, I shoot three under and use the rest that comes with the bow and the string too. My question is what arrow setups are you using for your bob lee and what brace height and nock height are you guys using. I have gold tips 35-55, I have beeman mfx 400 and they all have the 75grain brass inserts installed and I also picked up some 2117. I also have field points from 100grain-250grain. I just want a good starting point any help would be appreciated thanks gang

3555s sound too light to me. the GT arrow selector chart puts you right in the middle of the 5575 shafts.

How do they bare shaft?

I'm 50# at 30" with 31-1/2 5575s with 175 gr. heads on a signature TD with a strike plate built out 1/8th inch. My brace height is 8-1/4" and it's finicky, a quarter inch either way and it gets cranky. If you're using a new string, it takes a bit of shooting to get it set. Watch it closely.

All my bob lees are set at 7 1/2-5/8 brace height. I would start at there and then play with it. I think you got a good starting point with the 400s.

With my Bob Lee Classic (55#@28"), I use a brace height of 7 7/8", an eight strand FF skinny string, and 4 homemade wool silencers.

Using Stu's Dynamic Spine calculator for my Easton Axis FMJ 500's, my arrows are cut to 28 1/16".....point weight 145 gr, nock end weight of 23 gr (nock + wrap), 3x5" fletching, and the standard Easton HIT insert.

With this setup, the arrows fly great.

The thing about Bob Lee bows is that, in my experience with 4 or 5 of them, they like a very high nocking point. Find the right brace height and nocking point and then add some weight to the front end of your 3555s (like up to 200g) and you should be right on.

With my BL It 54@28 I draw 29 and I shoot axis 400 cut 30 in to bop and put 250 up front and they shoot great and bare shaft great . Once you fine the right brace height and nocking point , start playing with the weight up front ! This give me a 565 gr arrow the shoot where I'm looking and hit like a truck . My 2 cent

I have a Bob Lee bow, #52 @ 28 and shoot off the original rest and three under. I have had good results with full length 3555 GT shafts and up to 250 gr. points with standard inserts. The brace height is set between 8 & 8 1/16 and two tied knocks. The top one is 3/4" above center.

I'm shootin beman 500's. 29 1/4 with 100gr inserts and 125 point. bob lee takedown recurve 50@28 drawing 28. Bareshaft a little weak

Like Old Chief I keep my 35-55's full length and load her up with 100 gr insert and 125 heads. 7 3/8" brace and 5/8 above.(Stick Elite)

I shoot my 50# @ 28" TD longbow 3 under, 8 1/8 BH and 5/8" nock. I draw 30" and shoot 2117 with 125 gr. point. With the 50# @ 28" TD recurve I use 2216 arrows and a 9/16" nock with an 8 1/2" BH. Both bows are shot 3 under and are 64" long. The arrows are all 30" long.

I think the Lee is cut past center. It is very forgiving and you can shoot a few different spines. I had a 54# @28 Long bow and it liked 2020's with 150gr. point or 2018's with 125gr. point.

I don't know about arrows but I do shoot it with a about a 75/8 brace height for me.
