What's your shooting style?

I was tuning a new Widow PL test drive bow that I decided to keep    :knothead:  the other day when I figured it was a decent time to mess around with shooting style.  I started to do what I think was gap shooting - focusing on a point of aim while seeing the arrow tip in my periphery and placing it on a predetermined reference to the target - after a couple of rounds of adjusting I was smacking shafts downrange, repeatedly.  I'm typically a decent instinctive shot but this was the best, or most consistent, I've ever shot.  Gap shooting seems to be a taboo around here but it got me wondering, how do most guys shoot?  Do you have an aim reference or go all instinctive?

Instinctivly. shoot what works best for you.

Instinctive here, but nothing wrong with gap, after all, they are both gap shooting, only difference is the point of concentration.

I shoot instinctivly. Just look at what I want to hit. Ain't smart enough to do it any other way.
I try not to let my mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.

I try to keep my bowhunting and shooting simple.

I look at the spot I want to hit. Draw until my index finger reaches the corner of my mouth. Bore my sight into the spot I want to hit. Release and keep both hands still.

I will never be a IBO Champion but I can consistently hit the vitals of a whitetail deer at 15 yards or less.

I use my arrow as reference for alignment, and trust my bow arm for the rest of the shot.

I've always shot instinctive. I've never seen the tip of my arrow at full draw. I concentrate on a small spot on a target or a live animal with both eyes open.
