Hi all, I hope not the only one.  I have been looking for one of the old campaign covers for a hunting hat, like the doughboys wore.  I have looked at the drill instructor cover and find the brims to stiff, just curious if anyone seen or know another place to look, or if anyone uses one of the smokey bears.

LaClair found one a few years back....he is up hunting, maybe he will see this thread in a day or so. Send him  pm....his is nice!

I had one made by Texas Hatters and it works out great......short brim for bowhunting.

Looking for a campaign hat?  Look up the web site for River Junction Trading Company.  They have one on their site. I believe it is what your looking for.  Let me knkow if you find it.

Mine is the stiff DI model. Worked for me in the 70's at MCRD. Will not with fast flight. Good luck
