I carry a five gallon bucket full. That will usually get me through a 30 target shoot.  :biglaugh:

Ok thanks guys.  This will be my first trad 3D as well as my first time at this course.  I think I'm bringing lots of arrows.   :)

If anyone is in the Bay Area, it is the Winter Hunt shoot at Diablo Bowman on Jan. 8th.

Hope to see some TG'ers out there.

I got a buddy that takes two and it never fails I have to put his extra in my quiver. He say's if he loses those he's packing it in for the day.

I usually just grab a handful and go and use my big jim's hip quiver. Gonna start using a back quiver.

4 in my bow quiver and the rest of the dozen in my truck just in case. I had to go to my truck once cause I broke 3.
Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils.

When I was back in S.C. or when I would go to Florida for the Tradional Bowhunters of Florida shoot I took 6 arrows on avg. The avg shot back there was around 15 yards some out to 30-35 yards.

Here in Ca. I take a dozen on avg because some of the shoots have boulders as a backstop and the others are set up for the wheel bows so I have a avg shot of around 35-40 yards and out to 80 yards we get a few steps up on the longer shots. You can lose a few arrows in the brush or they get hit by the wheel bow shooters. Have fun!

Hey S.C. Hunter,

No worries about wheelie's at this shoot.  Trad only and if I don't find woodies, I don't even have to worry about scoring.   :)

2-3 no more than 3...I have shot a tourney with just one arrow.

My first trip out I took a dozen in a side quiver. Lost or broke 4 arrows. Now a days I take 6 in a side quiver and shoot the same arrow all day. (Unless there is an iron buck around       ).

There are some amazing shots posting so far.    :archer2:    I take a dozen.  Keep 6 in my back quiver and usually shoot 2 or 3 for a day shoot.   I am considered a good shot in my area and still manage to lose or break an arrow now and then.  Plus it is fun to shoot several at a target from different ranges at fun shoots.

I fill up the old back quiver.  That way when I lose or break a couple other guys don't look at me and think that I lost or broke a couple.
