Hey guys,

I need some quick help with getting the right carbon arrows for my bow, or at least a good starting point. I have this wonderful bow I received in the swap, and the arrows I have are crap. Kinda like putting 83 octane gas in a Ferrari.

It's a recurve, 50# at 30". I'm thinking that means I want a 500 spine arrow, but wanted to double check before I went ahead and released Santa for purchase.

Also, I realize I'll need to tune it a bit, but what range of weight tips should I be shooting?

Thanks!!!
Brad

are you drawing to 30"?  If so I would go with gold tip 55/75 150 gr tip should be a good starting point. For a heavy arrow maybe a CX heratage 250 full length with 250gr tip might be a good starting point to.

How would switching the arrow manufacturer add 100 grains?  Just wondering why one option would be so much more than the other.

Is 500 spine correct then?

Gentry

Yeah 500 spine for light arrows with light tips 400 spine for heaveir arrows with heavy tips.
