I need to change my nock point. I do not want to use the brass ring any longer. What material do I need to use,,and is there a video out there or site that explains how to tie it on?

Check out the How To-Resources section here. There's a great one there.

There are several in the how to section that are good..

I use waxed dental floss. Start with a 12" piece and tie a square knot. After that, I just alternate the knots(one on top, one on bottom) until I reached the size I want. Lastly, trim the tag ends and add a dab of super glue. Works great for me, hope this helps.

I tie adjustable string nocks and they work great.  Just twist them to go up and down. Best nock I've tried. You can find the video here:

I use Brownell Twisted Nylon Bowstring Serving Material and it works perfectly.

The key with the knot is to experiment with how tight to tie it off.  Too tight and it will dig into the serving.  Too loose and it will move.  Don't get frustrated with the knot.  Once you get it down it's easy.  I tied some on this morning in just a minute or two.  Good luck.

I use the Ray Hammond method with waxed dental floss,It is all I have used for years, it is quick easy and it works.

When I get my six month dental check up and cleaning, I always ask for red dental floss   :D
