I shoot split finger and found a BW tillered for three under. What issues would I see if I shot this bow split .. if any? I'm just not sure.

Thanks for your help

I don't think it'll make any difference.  I believe the tillering process is the same regardless.  Of course, I'm no expert...

I don't think it will make any difference. I have had several bows tillered both ways and I think you can adjust the nocking point and make either shoot fine.

Ulysseys

No difference - in fact I've heard BW tillers split and three under the same way now, if its an older bow I doubt you'll see any difference.

I once had a PMA11 that was tillerd for 3 under and I shot it split finger, thing was loud beyond belief.
If it doesn't make any difference why would they tiller them different?

i own a psr - bought used =- its tillered for split. Its noticably louder when shot 3 under. 3 uner is the way i shoot and i've tried to fiddle with nock pt but it refuses to be as quiet when shot 3 under. Not that its terribly loud - just loudER

There is a 1/8 inch differance in the tiller for 3 under then for split finger shooting. It has to do with the balance of the limbs.

When I talked to BW they asked how I shot, for tillering reasons. They said I would be able to shoot one tillered for split 3 under pretty well but would have a little trouble shooting split with one tillered for three under. Brian Furgason says the same thing in one of his vids.

Thanks everyone ... I'll wait to find a bow with the correct tiller.
