What is your favorite/best used hunting camo clothes?

Rob W.

This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

Usually wool plaid. I have had good luck with Cabela's Wooltimate as well. It's a very muted, relatively light colored camo. Most of the high-tech camo stuff just clumps together and shows your outline. Predator and ASAT would be exceptions to that. I haven't used ASAT, but have used predator and it works pretty well.

My go to stuff is still wool plaid though. Often have to use camo bibs because it's hard to find quiet, warm non-camo stuff. I wish they made Wooltimate bibs.

I like the VIAS/ASAT/Predator approach to camo. But in the end, I'm not convinced it's any more effective than plaid, combined with smart hunting.

Asat and predator the rest of the stuff you look like a black blob. you need the contrast and outline break up

People need to get a life. That dose not mean to take someone else's, or to make one they can't support.

If you fish and hunt only to catch or kill something. You have MISSED THE POINT COMPLETELY.

Depends completely on what and where I'm hunting. There is no one pattern fits all camo.

Yep!

I beg to differ, ASAT, Predator and Natgear works under all conditions and environments. Most animals only see in white, grey and black so color really doesn't matter so pick what you like in those brand names. All the rest is just marketing B.S.(looks cool)unless you are a sniper or something and are trying to hide from the human eye.

I do mostly spot and stalk and try to stick with very light colors.  Lots of my shirts and t-shirts are the older predator.  Wife made them and I can't seem to wear them out.

We pretty much kid ourselves since deer don't see the pattern that well.  They are believed to have vision of about 20/100 with phenomenal ability to detect any movement at about any distance they can see.

The main purpose camo serves is to get money out of the hunter's pocket.

In many cases a cheap plaid shirt would do as well or better.

I laugh when I see guys trying spot and stalk wearing the nearly black camo's common in the east.

Widow's Son

I usually stick with predator camo but the older I get the more I find myself wearing a plaid flannel shirt and a pair of bib over-alls.

That's it in a nutshell...camo is all about movement or the lack of it.

Asat, I would like to try Kuiu but not ready to spend that money yet

Asat, Cabela's Outfitter, plaid, old Woodland military surplus. Doesn't matter if you hunt smart.
We are all here because we are not all there.

Depends on the time of year and temp...Went out this morn and it was 6 degrees...at least thats what my thermometer read. Anyway, I use an olive and black pattern with my wool suit from "Columbia".
But, lately, I have been looking at plaid patterns. I like grey, orange and green. IMHO
