First off again I have to thank all on this site with the knowledge that is passed on here at Trad Gang without it I would not have had the "luck" I am having so far this year.
As I came back to hunting this year after a very long break I said I would do it from the ground and traditional.
Well around 4:30 yesterday she came by at around 10yds and she knew something was up she appeared to be on full alert but for some reason she stopped right in my lane she dropped her head down below the brush on the ground I picked the spot, drew back, anchor and let the arrow go. As soon as the arrow left I said to myself uh-oh... she was slightly quartering away and up hill but she stood there for half a second and dropped. I thought the shot was low in my mind. Gave her a half hour and sure enough the entrance was low and back. Arrow did a complete passthrough but exit was higher and right through kill zone. Anyway dont understand why she just dropped there not going to complain as tracking in pine needles can be a pain even with a good blood trail.

Thanks again Trad Gang.
