I love my T-hawk longbow and am wondering how many out there are also Tomahawk fans. I know you don't really get to order the woods in them but man they shoot just as good as any custom bow I have ever shot. Also my SS is the prettiest bow I have ever seen.

I've never shot one but they sure look sweet. The mentions I've read have always been about how good they are.

I would expect no less from 3Rivers, great company and they stand behind their products.

Have you tried doing a search for them? I'll bet there has been more posts about them than you think.

They must be pretty good, they sell them and you rarely see them for sale used, once in a while but not often!! They must be keepers....LOL!

Well I have three: 55# SS, 60# Fox and a 70# SS all "Diamonds" at 64 inch.  All are shooters and are shot often.  I have no reason to want to sell or trade any of them.

My SS is a diamond series and is 62" long. I don't think any bow can out perform it either. It shoots a 620 grain arrow at 170 fps and it only pulls 55 pounds!

Shot one at Kalamzoo several years ago, a takedown and it shot really well.

I have a woodland hunter diamond series, 50#@28". I probably will pass on before it does      

I have one and they look good and are very tame to shoot, but I don't think they are up there in the performance department. My Toelke Classic Whip out paces it.

I have a Desert Fox and SS. Both 50@28 and Both are Keepers.

My mate has one, and has killed three pigs with it. He loves it, eh. And it is a well-made, nicely-shooting bow.

I haven't tried one yet, but would like to...anyone have one they could lend me?  

I've had a diamond SS for a few years and like it pretty well.

I just traded for a Diamond SS 64" 60@28,shoots OK but it's probably going on the trading block shortly. Just not for me.

I got my wife a diamond SS she likes it a lot.

Miss my SS diamond @ 55 lbs. it was the best squirrel bow I've had.Anything less seems to allow the to escape after impact.I traded it back to the guy that I bought it from and now wish I still had it.

Nice shots I had 3 this past year.

I had a Diamond SS,  it was extremely well made, some very clever design aspects (best tips in the business in my view),  great grip etc..    It didnt feel as smooth, or shoot as fast as similar bows in my experience.  I would definitely have another, but for the $ there are better bows out there for my needs.

I think I read somewhere (probably here) that the Tomahawks are made by Bill Forman at Great Plains.  Is this true?  They do look very much like Great Plains' Traditional Longbows.

The Tomahawks are made by Great Plains. Dale has them made to the exact specs he himself uses. Also, I don't know what the price difference is but you can get one custom done with whatever woods you want in it. Although the SS diamond series is as pretty and good shooting of a bow as any of them out there.
