Well, I got married in August and my wife informed me that she had ordered me a Shrew, back in January as a wedding present, right around the time I ordered one as an impulse buy,  which I did before telling her I was going to. So anyway I was on the list for 2 new custom shrews. The other night my phone rang and I saw it was Ron LaClair ( you know it's bad when he's on my speed dial!) My name has come up months ahead of time.....for both bows! I am so excited that I can barely stand it.

To make things even better, my birthday was at the end of last month. My wife wanted to know what I wanted so I told her I could use a new backpacking sleeping bag for my CO elk hunt next september. My birthday rolled around and I was sure I was getting the much needed sleeping bag. I nearly fell over when she said she ordered me the Seekoutside 8 man Tipi I have been looking at and drooling over online. I think i only mentioned it once or twice that it was on my dream list, I never would have thought she would remember and then actually get it for me. Her instructions were now I just needed to buy the stove for it and the Tipi was going to take some time to ship. Well it came in today! I really have the best wife ever and this has been a great week

Do not ever get rid of her and bring her roses every day for the rest of your life. Good wemon are like good dogs hard to come buy but we get lucky sometimes.

And....as I recall, she does some pretty good custom fletching as well!!!!
