I am going to order a couple of dozen shafts. I will be shooting them from bows that are 44@28" to 51@28". I realize each will be different but where would be a middle of the road starting point. I am thinking 50-55 spine. Will be using 125-145 grain points. Will buy some woody weights to work with if need be. Thanks, Don

You are in the right range!  I think you will be fine!

You might give Snag at Wilderness Custom Arrows (a sponsor on TradGang) a shout. He uses Surewood shafts exclusively and is very knowledgeable on spine recommendations.
No matter where you go; There you are.......

Depends whether your bows are center cut or not.  You might be wise to get a test pack from a sponsor and go from there.  Shafts are expensive and it will get costly if you buy dozens hit or miss.

X2 on the test pack...

I agree, I'd get in touch with Snag, and he can get you on the right track....

Recurve or longbow? Fastflite string or not? What is your draw length and arrow length?

spend the money up front on a test pack - dollars well spent.  woodies can be SO different ...

Yep, the test back is a great way to fine tune. Once you get it dialed in, you're gonna love those Surewoods.

Hi Don,
  I would be honored to send you a few arrows to try out. I'll pm you with some more info.
Thanks, David >>>----->
