I bought an old bow today. Original owner says its late 60's or early 70's. Its a Herters Perfection 56" recurve in new condition....never braced or shot...spent 40 some years in the antlers of a mulie mount. Came with a clamp on quiver and arrows.....what you all know about this bow? Who made it for them? Is it good?? Junk??? Wont say what I paid yet....I strung it tonight and pulled it back a few times....all good. Going to shoot it tomorrow...Great looking bow

herters bows were very nice bows . They shoot good and most had rosewood risers that are very nice looking as well .

I always admired Herters bows, I only owned one the takedown recurve and it was a good bow.  I think you hit the jackpot with that one.
