I'm going to use a pop up blind for a spot that has a lot of deer travel but no trees for a stand.

What is your experience with shoot thru windows vs just leaving the windows open?

make sure you pratice first with and without the shoot thru in place different sight picture and maybe arrow flight also be carefull of not having all the windows open lets light in from behind and will sky line you in the blind

I took the shoot through windows out of my double bull as soon as I got it. Never have tried them so I can't say. The way we do what we do is hard enough as it is so why chance it. If you have a newer blind it should be blacked out on the inside. Just wear black from the waist up and you should be fine. Glove on bow hand, face covered or painted, hat, the whole nine yards.

I know when you're sitting in there it seems very bright. Have your wife, buddy, etc put on the black and sit in there. You'll be amazed at how close you have to be before you can even make out their outline. Just keep the window/s that you plan on shooting out of as small as possible. Make sure your arrow won't hit the bottom of the windows on a point blank shot and that you have enough room on the top side to raise your bow for the farthest shot that you plan on taking. FYI if you're into filming you can't beat the blind.

I shoot thru the netting on all my ground blinds. It works great and you will not get better concealment. It does tend to mess with your depth perception a little so I would definitly practice a bit to make sure that does not happen.

I'm with Bisch. Dim light is tough on depth perception and the open black windows makes the deer around here skittish. You need to practice  sitting down and shooting thru the mesh. Shooting thru the mesh is more of a mental thing than a real problem and shooting thru it a few times with a sharp broadhead will ease your mind.

Yeah like Bisch says it really messes with depth perception while at full draw. Add some low sun and it makes it impossible to see. If you are going to do it set up with the sun behind you. If you are in the shaded woods no worries. Arrow won't be effected much at all. It's more a mental battle.
