Great deer!  What a high to low to high so quickly!!  Been there with a less than perfect that did the job...thank goodness for sharp broadheads.  Congrats!

Zwickey broadheads rule. Nine or so years ago I was taking a severe quartering away shot at a mature doe. She jumped string on me a bit and I hit her in the right hindquarter. The Zwickey shattered her hip socket joint and cut her femoral artery. I found her in less than forty yards. I still have and hunt with that same Zwickey head.

Troy, the bow is a recycled metal riser from a Jennings Black Lightning compound wich is from the same mold as the Black Bear compound.  They make a great recurve in their new life.
The limbs are Quinn Stallion #60 and pull about #55 at my 29.5 DL.  It's a real sweet shooter, especially with the SRF sight.  I have two more risers just like this one - all with Quinn limbs.  It's so much fun to mix and match.  

Any Deer with a Stick Bow is a GREAT Deer!!
